Dear Readers,

The essay in my book entitled, “What If & So What” which also appears here on my website and on my Psychology Today blog, caught the attention of the Toronto-based podcast It’s Not Therapy hosted by Liana Kerzner. The essay is about anticipatory dread and generalized negative thinking. I hope you enjoy it!

It’s Not Therapy, Episode 63

“So what?” Those two words have the power to free us from the anxiety, fear and dread which keep our lives stuck in a bad place. Author and psychotherapist Richard Joelson joins Liana to relate how he helps his clients cope with and overcome obstacles and live happy, fulfilling lives.
